Building places where sustainability is felt with the body, not understood with the head.

Understanding with the head alone doesn’t change behavior. Through experience, we create the trigger that gets people to move as participants.

Design Principles

Four principles of experience design.

We build places where the body acts, not where the head understands. Not single-use events — each is designed as a trigger for ongoing action.
Principle 01

Start from felt experience.

We don’t start with lecture or explanation. Cooking, walking, touching, conversing. We always place a bodily entry first.

Principle 02

Move people as participants.

We don’t leave people in the audience or student seat. We always build a scene somewhere in the program where participants become the subject.

Principle 03

Design a takeaway experience.

We don’t end with just same-day fulfillment. We build places where participants take home — in their own words — what they’ll do at their workplace tomorrow.

Principle 04

Continue the relationship.

We design with relationships that continue after the event in mind from the start. Not one-off — but places that build into community.

NEWHERO Produces

Events we produce.

PRODUCED BY NEWHERO

HEROCAMP

HEROCAMP — a camp event produced by NEWHERO for feeling sustainability through food. Cooking, dialogue, and workshops are woven so participants take home their own action.

NEWHERO Collaborates

Collaboration events.

COLLABORATION

KIFUBAR

KIFUBAR — a project that turns drinking into donation for social organizations. We support from the marketing and creative side. A place where daily action becomes the entry to social contribution.

Process

From planning to operations — designed in six steps.

  1. Step 01 — Listen

Hearing the problem and the intent

Together with the host, we put “why this event, why now” into words. We work backwards from the situation we want to change — not from the headcount.

  2. Step 02 — Theme

    Theme & question design

Refining abstract themes into questions participants can take home as their own.

  3. Step 03 — Experience

    Experience flow design

From arrival to departure, we design the flow of sensation and emotion. Cooking, dialogue, embodiment, breathing room. Re-assembling the elements.

  4. Step 04 — Creative

    Creative production

From copy to visuals to space to handouts — we tune the entire tone so it doesn’t contradict the experience.

  5. Step 05 — Operate

    On-the-day operations

We stand on-site with the operations team. Not to follow the plan exactly — but to move with what is actually happening.

  6. Step 06 — Continue

Reflection & designing what comes next

Gathering participant voices and operational insights, we connect to what comes next. Growing the event into a continuous series.

Formats

No size or format limits how we engage.

FORMAT 01

Festival

In places where an open public gathers, we translate sustainability into an entry that can be enjoyed.

FORMAT 02

Conference

From speaking and moderation to theme design — building a place where the discussion actually advances.

FORMAT 03

Internal Event

Kickoffs, anniversaries, offsites. We build places where leadership and the field connect through “the same experience.”

FORMAT 04

Local Event

Starting from a region’s unique context, industry, and challenges, we design places where both visitors and locals begin to move.

Open Call

We welcome planning and creative collaboration for sustainability-related events.

Festival, conference, internal event, local event — format doesn’t matter. We’ll build sustainability-centered experience design together.
